Sugarbombing

Oct. 11 – 15, 2021

Sugarbombing is a photographer born and raised in Mexico City, who explores and immerses herself in subcultures, social movements, and direct political action through her camera. Throughout her travels she never shies away from conflict, and is a vocal activist and advocate for systemic change, and engages herself deep within the communities and cities she is a part of.

Sugarbombing has traveled the world always with her camera in hand. She has photographed subcultures from Punk to Hip Hop since she was a teenager.

She has captured social movements, political events and everyday life across borders. She is fascinated with big cities and hectic environments.

Her photos have been used for many record covers and have appeared in music, culture blogs and magazines in Mexico, the US and Europe.
